Description

e-Poly-lysine hydrochloride is a metabolite of Streptomyces albus, which is composed of 25 to 30 lysine residues. It has a significant inhibitory effect on Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, yeast, and molds. It has a very good inhibitory effect on Gram-negative Escherichia coli and Salmonella that are not easily inhibited by other natural preservatives. It also has an inhibitory effect on heat-resistant Bacillus and some viruses. It is a safe biological food preservative that can be widely used.
